Introducing Christopher Sia. Christopher shot this series while on a photography trip in Jiu Zai Gou, China.

“It was 2015 winter and it started snowing, we took a short break at this little Qiang’s village. I started shooting when I was 15 years old back in 1993 with my first Mamiya SLR, followed by a Nikon FM2. My father sold my FM2 when I was 20 because of some financial problems. I almost lost my passion in photography until I bought my Nikon FM2 again when I was 23 years old. After 15 years this FM2 is still with me and it still works like a charm.”.

“Even though I haven’t come to work as a photographer, but an entrepreneur, it means I have more chances to travel around and take more photos. Most of my work consists of landscape and street photography, I prefer to blend myself into local culture wherever I travel to. With a little passion, I’m telling a lot of stories to the world, through my lens.”.
