Growing up in Northam I loved going to the ‘Flying Fifty’ every year with Dad. Now known as the Festival of Speed, it’s a free two-day around the streets vintage and classic car racing event, normally held over a weekend in March. Every year since 1952 car lovers have flocked to our little hometown in the Avon Valley to participate in and attend this event, where you’ll see everything from old hand-built race cars to GT Falcons. In 2015 on a ridiculously hot Autumn’s day, I captured the ’round the streets racing on my Leica with Fuji Neopan B+W.
